As the third generation owner of my family’s company, I have literally grown up in this business. I remember sneaking my way into the plant as a kid to watch how my father made everything happen on our small, manual production line. Now that I have been blessed to carry on the family business, I’ve got pretty big shoes to fill. I think that’s why I’m always looking for ways to improve the way we do things, from creating new food concepts, to strengthening procurement relationships, managing leaner, and finding new innovative packaging. I don’t think the status quo has ever been very popular in my family; we built this company on always asking ourselves “is there a better way to do this?”
